Results Vary - An Important Note About SEO

When it comes to search engine optimization, results vary from one website to the next. This is due to a number of factors. For example, older websites are easier to work with and rank higher than newer websites (all other things being equal). Similarly, larger websites usually have better visibility than smaller sites (all other things being equal).

Due to these factors, I cannot guarantee where your website will rank in the search engines. I like to use the analogy of a stock broker, because it fits. A stock broker will use his or her professional knowledge and expertise to get you the best possible return on your investment. But a stock broker will never guarantee earnings. It's unethical and impossible, due to factors beyond the broker's control (like the unpredictability of the stock market).

Similarly, I will use my professional SEO knowledge and expertise to get you the best possible return on your investment. I will adopt your website while it's under my care and treat it like my own. But I still cannot guarantee rankings due to factors beyond my control (like the unpredictability of the Internet, changes in search engine algorithms, the website differences mentioned above, etc.).

What I can do, however, is point you to my past successes and assure you that up until now I've increased the search engine visibility, search engine ranking, and search-driven traffic of every website I've worked on over the years!

A Marathon, Not a Sprint
I'd also like to make it clear that search engine optimization is a marathon, and not a sprint. A steady application of SEO fundamentals will increase rankings and visibility gradually over time. If you want to be on Page 1 of Google immediately, I recommend using Google AdWords or a similar pay-per-click service. (I offer an SEO training module on Google AdWords, if you're interested.) As for natural / organic SEO, the only way to get to Page 1 (or near it) is with time, patience and persistence.
