Normally, when you read an article about real estate search engine optimization (SEO), you get the technical side of things.

You know ... how to use title tags, how to build inbound links. That sort of thing. And while these things do make up the core of SEO, there are bigger factors to consider. I affectionately call them the Three P's of real estate SEO:

* Patience
* Persistence
* Progress

And you can read all about them in a new article at ArmingYourFarming.com.

When you face a challenge in life, it helps to know you're not alone. When it comes to real estate marketing, this translates to other real estate agents facing the same challenges you face.

What real estate marketing challenges am I referring to? See if these sound familiar:

* I don't know anything about marketing.
* I don't know where to start.
* I don't know anything about technology.
* I don't have time for marketing.
* I'm brand new to real estate.

These are the five most common challenges I hear from real estate agents trying to improve their marketing. If any of these challenges applies to you, you'll enjoy the latest article at ArmingYourFarming.com.

Free Real Estate Articles - Now Available at HBI

Want free real estate articles that you can publish to your real estate website?

Then you're in luck, because HomeBuyingInstitute.com (our partner website) now offers free real estate articles through the convenience of an RSS feed.

HBI offers two publishing options -- Javascript and PHP:

The Javascript option is by far the easiest. You simply copy a small bit of Javascript code, and then paste it onto any page of your real estate website. This will generate our article feed, and when we update our articles (weekly), your page will update automatically.

The PHP option is a bit more advanced, but it has the added benefit of search engine visibility. There are detailed instructions for both publishing options on this page of HomeBuyingInstitute.com.

© 2010, Brandon Cornett. All rights reserved.
I know, I know ... everywhere you turn you find an article about real estate marketing online. It can get tiresome. Or, it can set off a little alarm in your head. Hopefully, you'll get the alarm. Here's why:

The reason you find so many articles about real estate marketing online is because that's where the industry is moving (and at an alarming pace). Just look at what all has occurred in the last couple of years -- the rise of home valuation sites like Zillow and HouseValues, the increasing Internet usage among buyers and sellers, the massive number of real estate agent sites popping up.

My point is this. As a real estate agent or broker, you can pretend the Internet isn't that bid a deal, or you can embrace it and grow your business to exciting new levels. The choice is yours.

Real Estate Marketing Online - 4 Steps to Success
If you choose the latter option (to embrace the Internet), I have some advice for you.

1. Read my article on the Fundamentals of Real Estate Marketing Online.

2. Read the Agent's Guide to Search Engine Success

3. Read the Agent's Guide to Web Marketing

4. Start building a strong presence online.

Good luck and good marketing!
