Inbound links, or "backlinks," play a major role in search engine visibility ... especially with Google. The quality and quantity of incoming links you have helps determine your website's ranking in the search engines.

Obviously, everybody wants to rank well in the search engines for their key phrases. So it naturally follows that everybody wants lots of strong links to their website. But here's the thing ... a lot of folks go about their link-building all wrong. They waste time and energy looking for the wrong links in the wrong places.
