Tips for Finding an Agent
There are plenty of ways to find a real estate agent in your area. I recommend the quickest and easiest approach, which is the Internet. By using the link I’ve provided above, you find a local agent to help you sell or buy a home. You can also save yourself a lot of time and energy in the process. But that’s not the only way to find a real estate professional in your town. Here are some more strategies you can use.
- You can find an agent by talking to friends, family or coworkers. If you know somebody who has bought or sold a home recently, ask them if they were happy with their agent’s performance. If they were, you could contact that agent for help.
- You can find a local agent by doing a Google search. In particular, I recommend doing a blog search to find real estate folks who are into blogging. Why? Because it shows they are Internet-savvy for one thing, and it lets you get to know them a bit by reading through their blog posts. You can see how active they are in the local market.
- You can also find a real estate agent by getting names from lawn signs. When an agent represents a seller, they almost always put their name and photo on the yard sign.
Here’s my advice. Start with the “friends and family” strategy first. Try to get a recommendation from somebody you know and trust. If that doesn’t work, use the link I’ve provided above to find local help. Good luck.
